Location: Kampala – Uganda
Main purpose of the position:
This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the administration section and its responsibilities include dropping and picking up visitors, collecting various packages, maintaining a travel log, and performing routine checks on company vehicles.
Reporting in to this position
Routine/Direct: N/A
Functional/Indirect: N/A
Key responsibilities:
- Carry out vehicle pre-start check each time you report for duty and report any fault to your Supervisor i.e Engine Oil Level, Radiator Coolant Level, Window Washer Fluid Level, Power Steering Fluid Level, Brake Fluid Level, Tyre Pressure, and General condition of the vehicle among others.
- Ensure that the car safety rules are adhered to by yourself and any other passengers while the vehicle is in motion
- Maintain a vehicle movement log sheet detailing the time and mileage of vehicle movements.
- Ensure that all loads are correctly and safely secured before the vehicle is put in motion
- Ensure that courtesy is observed when transporting personnel and other road users.
- Ensure that the vehicle is maintained in a clean, tidy, and mechanically sound condition.
- Support all company policies, including, but not limited to Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental, and alcohol.
- Ensuring that the company vehicle is always parked in areas that permit parking in order to avoid towing.
- Reporting any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management.
- Other duties within the range of your skills and experience may be required by your Supervisor from time to time.

Qualifications required:
- Minimum academic qualification: O level
Qualifications as an added advantage:
- Certificate in Defensive Driving 6. Experience required:
General work experience (years):
- A minimum of five years in a professional/reputable busy environment.
