JOB DETAILS:

Lafab Solutions is looking for an External Labour Recruitment Partner (Jobs Abroad). Lafab Solutions Partners with Licensed External Labour Recruitment Companies to find suitable candidates for work abroad under the jurisdiction of Ministry of Gender Labour and Social Development.
The overall Purpose of the External Labour Recruitment Partner (Jobs Abroad) is to manage the entire recruitment process for those who want to work abroad by managing the entire process according to laws and regulations of the Ministry.

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Participate in search and mobilization of the most suitable candidates from different parts
2. Handle all the dynamics of handling candidates from recording all their data/information, Document Handling, supporting their registrations, explaining all requirements, clearly communicating everything about the job and working abroad in general.
3. Following up on candidates regularly, providing necessary information, solving complaints if any and involving the candidates’ relatives in decision making.
4. Liaising with the partner companies for new opportunities and feeding them with updates.
5. Meeting and speaking to groups of candidates at once and providing them with knowledge and survival skills if they find mentally challenging workplaces.
6. Always liaising with authorities such as police and other are jurisdiction to ensure everything is done according to the labour laws of Uganda

Qualifications
1. Understanding of the Labour Laws of Uganda and related offenses.
2. Diploma or Bachelors’ Degree
3. Experience as a trainer and public speaker.
4. Strong ethics, respect of law and order and not compromised by money to take wrong paths.
5. People person and with strong networks with natural desire to communicate at all times.
6. Certificate of Good Conduct from Police will be required once selected.

Experience
1. At least 5 years’ experience working in External Labour work.
