Job Description/Requirements

Job title: Field Agent 

Reporting to: Assistant Collections Manager  

Working hours: 0800-1730, Monday-Friday; 0800– 1400 Saturday.  Location: Countrywide

Purpose of the position  

4G Capital Field Agents are responsible for managing delinquent customer portfolios and recovering any overdue monies in line with 4G Capital policies.  

The Field Agents report to the Assistant Collections Manager.  

Responsibilities & Duties  

  • Ensure all accounts are worked upon.  
  • Following up and close out on all defaulted accounts  
  • Investigate and resolve any customer queries and complaints.  
  • Achieve the monthly collection targets.  
  • Perform field visits and submit reports/action plans to recover debt.  
  • Work closely with the units and the call centre on the bad debt portfolio  
  • Manage relationships with local authorities and Security Officers.  
  • Participate in field collection drives across all branches. 
  • Action on BFCs from the Call Centre

Requirements  

  • A good level of general education- Diploma or degree 
  • Computer Literacy 
  • 2 years work experience in debt collection 
  • Experience in microfinance, bank, or any financial institution 
  • Education background in sales/marketing
